Amazing photo. Reminds me of the sculpture of Gaston Lachaise. Especially this piece called ‘Standing Woman’.

TLC Camera Repair is in High Point, NC. I haven’t used them but might one day. I share this URL to make a point. Knowing who repairs old cameras still is important!
I’m learning with old cameras and lenses you have to CLA. That’s Clean Lubricate, and Adjust. Sometimes you can buy a old camera that will take good pictures without a CLA first. But at some point they’ll need it. Just like old cars.
Nice Polaroid. So cool to see these being used again.

Folding cameras are amazing things. They come in 35mm and medium format models. What wonderful pieces of mechanical art. Art that can make art! Wow.
Centos6 is a treasure trove of information about these cameras where you can buy one or have it serviced.
Pentacon Six TL Drool… don’t own it. Wish I did. Kinda.

So cool to see that Film Rescue International exists. We need more people to release all the great pics locked away in film canisters.
Durham by Holden Richards on Flickr.
Holden Richards is one of my favorite artists. It’s amazing that I know him. Usually when you decide an artist is your fav you learn about them in a gallery. Often they are long dead, people you have no social connection to. But Holden is a friend and has taught me a lot. Plus he’s inspired me to no end. Especially by reviving my passion for film photography. I anxiously monitor his Flickr stream for the next amazing pic. THANK YOU Holden!
While reading about Henri Cartier-Bresson I stumbled upon Mr. Bravo. Amazing photos.
