Photographers Statement
Brian Russell lives in Durham, North Carolina. He uses film and digital photography to investigate our relationship with buildings as large sculptures that enclose us. People and other subjects also appear in his work, but buildings dominate much of his creative ideas. How all of these relate form a tapestry that resists fixed meaning.
